POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS – Part 1

1.      I will be thankful and rejoice with insults and criticisms. “Therefore I am happy with weaknesses, with insults,

with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake. Because when I am weak, then I am strong.” (2 Cor.

          12:10)

2.      I will only think on good thoughts that are pure, peaceful and righteous. “Whatever things are true, whatever

things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of

good report…think on these things.” (Phil. 4:8)

3.      I will only speak words that are edifying. “Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for

necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were

sealed for the day of redemption.” (Eph. 4:29-30)

4.      God loves me. “But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were

dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and

made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of

His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.” (Eph. 2:4-7)

5.      God will never leave me nor forsake me. “Let your conduct be without covetousness. Be content with such things as

you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say, “The Lord is my

helper, I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (Heb. 13:5-6)

6.      Everything is for my good. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who

are the called according to His purpose.” (Rom. 8:28)

7.      I will be happy all the time. “Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!”(Phil. 4:4)

8.      God has blessed me with every blessing. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us

with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” (Eph. 1:3)

9.      I will confess my sins. “If we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood

of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in

us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” (1 John

          1:7-9)

10.    I have been redeemed with the blood of Christ. “You were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver or gold,

from your aimless conduct received by tradition from your fathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without

blemish and without spot.” (1 Pet. 1:18-19)

11.    I will be kind, tenderhearted and forgiving towards other people. “And be kind to one another, tenderhearted,

forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” (Eph. 4:32)

12.    I will not put confidence in myself. “We should not trust in ourselves, but in God who raises the dead.” (2 Cor. 1:9)

13.    I will sing in my heart to the Lord. “Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and

making melody in your heart to the Lord. Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus

          Christ.” (Eph. 5:19-20)

14.    I will let the words of Christ dwell in me richly. “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching

and admonishing one another.” (Col. 3:16)

15.    I will glorify God in my body. “For you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit,

          which are God's.” (1 Cor. 6:20)

POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS – Part 2

16.    I have been crucified with Christ. “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.

And the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Gal.

          2:20)

17.    My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is

in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?” (1 Cor. 6:19)

18.    I have crucified the flesh. “And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” (Gal. 5:24)

19.    I will love others fervently with a pure heart. “Since you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the

Spirit in sincere love of the brethren, love one another fervently with a pure heart.” (1 Pet. 1:22)

20.    I will not conform to the former lusts. “As obedient children, not conforming yourselves to the former lusts, as in your

ignorance. But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct.” (1 Pet. 1:14-15)

21.    I will possess my body in sanctification and honor. “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should

abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor, not

in passion of lust.” (1 Thes. 4:3-5)

22.    God leads me in triumph in Christ. “Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us

diffuse the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” (2 Cor. 2:14)

23.    I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

          (Phil. 4:13)

24.    God gives me the victory. “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” (1 Cor.

          15:57)

25.    I have been washed. “And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were

justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.” (1 Cor. 6:11)

26.    Christ died for me. “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for

          us.” (Rom. 5:8)

27.    I have been justified by Jesus’ blood. “Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved

from wrath through Him.” (Rom. 5:9)

28.    I have been reconciled to God. “For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His

Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.” (Rom. 5:10)

29.    I am dead to sin. “Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our

          Lord.” (Rom. 6:11)

30.    I will not present myself to sin, but to God. “And do not present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to

sin, but present yourselves to God as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to

          God.” (Rom. 6:13)

31.    I will put to death the deeds of the body by the Spirit. “For if you live according to the flesh you will die. But if by

the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.” (Rom. 8:13)

32.    Nothing can separate me from the love of God. “For I am persuaded …. that nothing shall be able to separate us

from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Rom. 8:38-39
